Day 82. homework break

So I am never in the photo. I am always the one behind the camera, but last friday something struck me. I was watching "Super Nanny" and they had a widower with 3 little boys that were missing their mommy very very much. They decided to make a personal photo album for each boy, kind of like a mommy and me type of album. Dada had enough photos of mommy and each of their boys to make this special album. I realized, then, that I have just a few photos with my son, because I am always behind the camera over-thinking technical stuff like composition, light, saturation, sharpness... So I decided to start this new journey and take more photos of us, just being goofy, siting together to watch a movie, walking, having fun with Dady, eating, crying, loving each other.
Because I want him to remember me like his mommy, and not just like the girl behind the camera, that was trying really hard to get the best moment with the best technical circumstances. I want him to remember me as the mommy that was crazy about capturing the best moment of us. Simple us.

  2. Love goofy pictures with my kids!!! It's such a job getting them all to smile for the camera but when it's time to be funny and silly...then it's not a job anymore but the true fun has just begun!

  3. I've been focusing on getting in more photos too. Even learned to use the self-timer. This is a really cute pic.

  4. This is a perfect moment to capture. I need to get in on the action more myself. Thanks for the incentive.
