Day 286. emptiness

I am in this non creative mode lately. Trying to figure it out where I want to go next, what I want to learn, what I want to see...It has been hard to keep up with my 365 project.... I am trying my best. I just hope that you all understand and forgive me.
I will be around.

I think about that "empty" space a lot. That emptiness is what allows for something to actually evolve in a natural way. I've had to learn that over the years - because one of the traps of being an artist is to always want to be creating, always wanting to produce.

  1. Nice bench shot.... Looks like a place to sit and just relax.

  2. That is one thing I don't like about the 365 project, I find I'm so busy day to day with taking and editing photos (and everything else in life) that I feel there's no time to be creative, dream, get inspired and study up on techniques.
I love that quote! And I love your photography!

  3. I've been doing this for 21 months and it's hard to stay motivated. I've had a couple of those days this week too. But this project makes you stretch and become creative. Love your bench. :)

  4. It happens Valeria, it's natural, just try not and stress out about it. What ever you will be lovely because it means something to you, we are just the happy recipients! Let it come naturally.....it will

  5. I love the quote! I am a firm believer in the need for empty space in life and art. Empty, wide open space does so much for my soul. I hope you will be able to step back a bit and relax in whatever space you are in right now...mentally, emotionally and physically.

  6. Yes...it does happen. I went though a period this past summer where I could not take a photo...it lasted weeks!
